Dear Patrick,

Let us not talk of coffins, and if nails then the 'golden nails' - that
hammer home our love of and for learning.

Our present Secretary of State for Education stood up one fine day in the
House of Commons and spoke eloquently of such 'golden nails', that do not
rust, nor fail. He is blind. His faithful dog guides him here and there
about the duties of state with quiet resolution.

Sir, the partial victory is truly yours and completely so when the 'grin'
is truly a 'smile'.
