Long-cont. pref. types to go publish a book?
Why such self-limiting beliefs short-cont. pref. types?
"After you!"
Oscar Wilde once said that there are only two tragedies in the world, one
is not getting what you want and the other is...¦You guessed it!
Learning how to 'die' (depart/go) with dignity is an art we avoid, like
confusing 'fun' for 'joy', 'existing' and 'living' and perhaps 'being' and
'becoming'. Maybe you fail to distinguish whether it is the intrinsical
nature of the 'music' that moves you or the associations you brought and
continue to bring to it, like so much 'baggage' that stops you finding the
new in the old and the old in the new.
I am 'prepared' to walk my talk, here and now.
If anyone/everyone who has contributed to this list in the time-frame I
have come to be associated to it as actively by reading and by writing by
'posting' even down to just one word a month I will desist for ever
writing to this list, what is more I will courteously ask Rick our host to
remove all my postings to it (to you all) collectively from the archive.
(Though I am not sure that is technically possible?)
I also ask all those who might want to positively support the opposite
position remain silent on the matter, both in private and public.
There is only one thing I ask in return from those who see the service
thus rendered, that 'you' either as singular or group write publicly and
constructively onto this list, WHY? (So that others may know in advance
not to bother you...¦not so that I will argue it with you.)
In ancient Persia there is a curse among curses, it goes thus...¦'May your
every desire be immediately fulfilled.'
That is my gift.
This is my gift.
If ever and whenever you feel the power of the paradox 'others' have set
up through this 'virtual' matter write publicly addressing Mnr. At de
Lange on the power of 'wholeness', then go quickly and quietly to some
desert or other and sit still, sit very still.
Meanwhile, enjoy the 'power of your powerlessness' < ~ : - ) (Senge)
Love,
Andrew Campbell
