Dear Colleagues,
The Industrial Statistics Research Unit of Newcastle University has a
conference called Industrial Statistics in Action from 8-10th September
this year in Newcastle. It will be a major event here being a forum for
the exchange of successful ideas between industry and academia. We have
some of the world's well known figures coming to speak, eg Shin Taguchi,
head of the American Supplier Institute and a video conference with George
Box. The RSS has endorsed it and papers are being published in the Journal
of Applied Statistics. Any publicity would be very welcome.
