Dear Corina and Learners,
Summary: Rapid 'impressionist' sketch. Commenced: 7.09 GMT. Light

"A leaf of grass is no less than the journey work of the stars." Whitman
~~~Saw a little girl walking last evening behind her father, a few hundred
metres away, I guess they were walking home. She was carrying what looked
like an injured animal, she seemed to be tending and talking to it, with
it, as she negotiated the few obstacles in her path. Her dad ( I presume
that is who he was) was a little ahead of her. I said to my companion, 'Oh
look, that little girl is carrying an injured animal.' But as we got
quickly closer I realised that it was not an animal at all. It was a
bird's nest, made of moss and 'down' and other softest fibres. She held it
out in front of herself, singularly amazed as there it sat held in the cup
of her hands. Then a voice at a distance, but right in my head and heart
echoed, "I just felt that you all need to look again at yourselves with
different eyes and to ask, where are you going?"
Fly little bird, fly! ~~
Love,
Andrew Campbell.
