Our LO Dialogue Here LO24765

Yes, Lon...everytime I find myself speaking to rather than listening to
others. Sometimes I experience this when I'm listening to someone
monopolizing airtime to the exclusion of others. As a facilitator (as
many of you have experienced, I'm sure), I find myself trying to muzzle
the talkative or extroverted one so that we can hear other voices.

My primary focus is on muzzling myself, though, so I listen more than I
speak.

We have so many good "listener" role models on this list. I would like to
hear their voices, to share in their wisdom, insight and knowledge.

My vote for dialog, Rick, is to continue "lurking" in the hope that I'll
hear new voices and thoughts come forth.

I will share that my professional efforts (for the last 2 years) are
related to facilitating organizational efforts associated with adopting
knowledge management practices (closely allied with LO disciplines). I am
also always interested in leadership practices. I would very much like to
hear some best practices and learning experiences in these areas.

regards,

Doc
