I think that it's useless to mention all the benefits of a LO here, since
it's widely documented. Actually, I believe that the main benefit is
survival. An organization that doesn't learn will not survive on the long
term.
I think that the main problem are not the benefits, but the delay to
receive them. Most managers hesitate to implement measures that will not
be reflected on the bottom line before the end of the current or next
fiscal year. And, in a way, it makes sense if we look to the turn over
rates at the top of many organizations.
