Vision, mission, values, left-hand column, scenario planning...I'm think
there's a monster herd of elephants stomping around outside that we would
be able to see or disconfirm if we cared to do so. Am I crazy? Or does
this community suffer a pathological learning disability -- such a narrow
focus on "learning" in the business-as-usual model that it fails to adapt
as the surrounding system changes?
Rick, I love what you have helped create here in learning-org and the
wisdom, dexterity, and gift of energy you have given in doing so,
particularly in handling yelping, biting, and snapping tendencies. I also
wonder...Have you ever thought that sometime you might wish to give
learning-org to learning-org, that is, empower it to self-organize and
mature itself into something more than the beautiful baby you own?
