Replying to LO25487 --

Roger and Winfried...

It is helpful to me, in the midst of the great sense of urgency that seems
to apply to changing organizations in this year and this decade to
remember that even the small things I do/say can have immense effects
through the people and especially the children around me. Perhaps I need
only live my life as a learner and that is enough. When I see my Dad, at
82, enthusiastically exploring the internet and hiring a high school kid
to coach him, I am inspired!

A favourite Canadian Folk Song - and wonderful to sing with a choir

"We Rise Again

When the waves roll on
Over the water
And the ocean cries
We look to our sons and daughters
To explain our lives

As if a child could could tell us why
That as sure as the sun rise
As sure as the sea
As sure as the wind in the trees

(Chorus)

We rise again in the faces of our children
We rise again in the voices of our song
We rise again in waves out on the ocean
And then we rise again"
