Dear KM Professionals:

The Knowledge Management Consortium International (KMCI), a non-profit
professional association, is pleased to announce the official launch of
its KM Certification Program, and that registrations are now being taken
for classes this spring at discounted, introductory prices. Please take a
moment to visit our website at the following URL for the details of our
program:

http://kmci.org/AboutUs/PressReleases/02-11-01_KMCertification.htm

The KMCI certification program is offering two different paths to
certification that attendees can choose from: (1) A "Certified Knowledge
Manager" (CKM) program aimed at the governmental market, and (2) A
"Certified Knowledge and Innovation Manager" (CKIM) program aimed at the
commercial, or private sector, market. Different levels of certification
are also being offered.

The KMCI is widely recognized as the leading authority on the application
of systems thinking to knowledge management, and also as the point of
origin for so-called 'second-generation KM,' in which principles taken
from organizational learning and complex adaptive systems theory are
blended into a form of useful KM practice.

I would personally welcome calls from any of you to discuss the merits of
our new program and to answer any questions you might have about its
content or benefits. I can be reached at (802) 436-2250 at your
convenience.

Regards,

Mark W. McElroy

Chair, Governing Council
