Hello René,
But what when one cannot speak of "Whatever of which one cannot speak, one
must be silent", must one be silent or speak?
" Von "Wovon man nicht sprechen kann, darüber muss man schweigen" kan man
nicht sprechen, darüber muss man schweigen"
I'd suggest the quote from Hamlet: ".. and the rest is silence...." as a
potential solution.
The paradox, supported by the increasing numbers of this list which is a
hands-on demonstration of the law of entropy creation, is that we
communicate that we cannot not communicate.
This reminds me of Paul - "my name is Watzlawick" (A: "I didn't say that";
P: "I told you that"; A: "Then why did you say that it was not the case?"
P: "But i told you so". It turned out that the A had heard "my name is not
Slavic") Watzlawick, who ends his book "Pragmatics of human
communications" with the same quote by Wittgenstein as The Answer to The
Problem: "There is No Problem" or, to but it differently, "The Solution to
The Problem of Life is the Disappearance of The Problem.
Therefore there exist things we cannot talk about." or, to but it like it
to be put more simply: "never imagine your Solution to The Problem not to
be otherwise than what it might appaer to others that what It is or might
have been was not otherwise than what it would have been would have
appeared to them to be otherwise".
kind regards,
Jan
