You gave my thoughts another injection shot with your contribution.
Particularly the simple-complex issue is something to think further on.
I have one supporting remark on your question about leaderships, plural:
could there be more then one leader and could there be a shifting
leadership.
I was thinking in these lines too: an oscillating leadership between two
or more persons (if we think of human organisations). The oscillation may
enhance or keep the entropy production within these persons on a high
level. It seems simmilar with the effect one can observe in certain
dialogues.
