Dear Andrew,

I thoroughly enjoyed your posting.

For some years I have been aware of a progression in the business
environment where I seek gainful employment as a facilitator/trainer.

I describe it this way:

>From DATA, you may see patterns emerge, or "take form."
This form becomes INFORMATION.
Our most individual cycles of reasoning filter this information, and turn it
into KNOWLEDGE. Then, when applied to our existence, the knowledge may then
become WISDOM or EXPERTISE. These two are distinct, to be sure, but I
believe you can see how their borders have blurred in the business
environment nowadays.

It's curious that some of us see a dysfunctional chasm between wisdom and
expertise, because we associate the former with Truth derived in part
through personal insight. And the latter?

Warmest regards,

Barry
