Replying to LO29363 --
I tend to think of "mental models" as habitual patterns of thinking or
behaving that are strengthened with use. I like Terje's comments that
they exist only in the minds of researchers. However, I don't think we
could go into the minds of those researchers and find them in there too
easily. :)
