Don,

I so enjoyed reading your posting.

Among the sentences of Krishnamurti, was this one you typed:

"Thought cannot think about love, for love is beyond the reaches of the
mind."

Because it engages me so, I'll paraphrase once again Rumi's lovely
quatrain, placing it into a small tale, so to speak.

At midnight, along barely illuminated, rain-soaked streets, a man seeks
his lover's door. Out of breath, he raps on the pungent cedar, and calls
out to his heart, "Open!" From behind the wood he hears, "You've been
knocking from the inside."

What the world needs now is love, sweet love. It's the sort of thing that
there's just too little of.

Barry
