Dear Colleen,

You quetioned:

> How would you describe the organisational structure of contemporary
> organisations, such as the learning organisation in todays world?

Since I am also interested in structures of organisations (and organisms) my
attantion was attracted by your question.

The structure that cam in my mind was that of a 'bucky ball', or fulerene.
The chemical multi-carbon molecule which has no top, no bottom, no dead
ends, it forms an entire unity, where each part has its function and no
part is more important than an other.
