Dear Clyde,

Welcome back.

I enjoyed your mail and (re)introduction of yourself, because it has this
energitic spirit. And this is special, because there were/are lots of
reasons to write a message full of lamentations.

The other reason why I always read intro's is that it is so nice to 'know'
the members of this community. I suspect that there must be a lot of
silent readers on this list. Certainly, they will have there reasons for
being silent and I respect that of course. However, sometimes I have the
longing to 'sit' next to a silent (or shy) person, just to share some
thoughts with eachother. Like in our real world were I have experienced
how nice it is to meet the quiet people in a reception or other sort of
meeting. Many times I have noticed that still waters run deep.

Here on this list, all waters seem to be deep. That's why this list is so
special.

Possibly this is I wise attitude - no specific question, just observation
and trying to comprehend some small parts of what happens. There is too
much to observe. And it deserves some very deep systems thinking. It is
like continental drift: if the opening of the Atlantic Ocean could trigger
an earth quake in Afghanistan, or Alaska; or a volcanic eruption in Japan
or Peru. What could be the 'continental drift' - the underlying mechanism
- which triggers the happenings in this world?
