Greetings dear Bill,

I think of your "two bits" as "two mountains" to cross!

I would very much study fellow learners' answers to this question. So let
us have these answers.

My own answer is short. It helps me very much to identify myself with
another person's personality when i know what sort(s) of complex music
that person prefers. But i can only do it provided i am literate myself.

As to the second question, i will try to answer it later. I suspect that
the answer will be very long!

With care and best wishes
