Replying to LO30596 --
I know this may sound silly, but the fact that the "off-the-air" message
was distributed means that I can try to restart the mailing list.
I'm distributing a dozen or so mesasges tonight; I hope you'll see these
shortly. Thank you for your patience.. I say this especially to those
authors whose messages have waited in the queue for the past 10 days.
We went "off-the-air" as a result of a total-meltdown at my vendor.
Perhaps there are some lessons in this, but so far there is little
information except that everything takes longer when dealing with a
large, complicated, high-volume system like world.std.com/theWorld.com.
