Replying to LO13162 --

Reflecting upon Mary French's post, does it make a positive statement
about the threads and posts dealing with the golden rule? It would seem to
be so.

Yes it is more than simply "not bad", and relates to the essential
questions all human beings ask, either in public or private.

Who am I?
Why am I here?
How did I get here?
What is my purpose?
How will I make my way through life?
Am I "good"?
Is there "goodness" outside of myself?
What will there be when I "die"?

I've noticed that some have more time to dwell on these questions than
others, due to their circumstances, but eventually answer these things
for themselves. For me, that is the beauty of the human condition.
