On New Ideas:
In order to be efficient, I restrict my intake of new ideas to no more
than 30% of my daily input. Although I am often tempted to look at new
things while researching a specific topic, I know that "browsing" can
cause bloating and waste valuable time that might otherwise be spent
memorizing valuable facts that other people insist I learn.
As a result of this 30% policy, I am often forced to read only the opening
paragraph of some of these LO contributions since they have so many new
and unsolicited ideas. If any of you are not restricting your input of
ideas and would like me to forward the remainder of these unused ideas,
please email me separately.
