In a bookstore of my home (Arlington, MA - Boston area) I saw Peter
Senge's 5th Discipline. I skimmed it over, and decided to buy it. What it
said seemed natural. In fact it made me very happy to read, because it
didn't seem too blind to itself, and supported it self well enough. Now I
have been pursuing the general area of organizational behavior and
collecting a library of varied books. Its my passion now. However, the
necessary and related fields to learning organizations make it as a
composite a huge area of study.
I decided I wanted a 'learning organization' summer. If anyone knows of
companies (or whatever) I could contact to send resumes to etc, I would be
very grateful. I am thinking something along the lines of Innovative
Associates. (I will be contacting them tomorrow.) However, I do not know
what is out there, where I could fit in, etc.
It could be in an environment in which I work with a pick axe on a trail
or have to wear a suit, but just an environment repleat in the action of
learning organizations.
And it doesn't matter where in the world it is from Scotland to South
America to back home on the east coast. In fact, overseas would be nice.
