One of the realities of getting anything done in most Dilbertian
organizations is the need for some stripes on the shoulder. This thread
reminds me of how much importance hierarchy still plays in most
organizations.

Another thought: Dr. Senge said to a satellite downlink session once, in
answer to what have you learned in the past 5 years (post 5th discipline),
to which he replied how important it is for us practitioners to be able to
function in both worlds. To me that means catching people where they are
at (Dilbertville) and figuring out how to move them closer to LOland.

Titles might be a necessary artifact we must come to grips with(?)
