Replying to LO13887 --

Dear all:

It is a bit late in the day (early in the morn) but our school is
strugglying with these concepts of learning organizations, quality,
responsibility, accountability, teams etc, etc.... As a matter of fact I
just have emailed a short analysis of some feedback regarding a teamed
approach to working with our students (a private, non profit school for
kids with learning disabilites ages 12 -21, also about 10 post sec
students.)

Only a short note here: when discussing LO's and quality at dinner last
Sept (?) during out long term plan time, me, our director and a board
member (actually we are all board members ) were exchanging some views. I
mentioned that LO"s seemed to be the way to go that it was really the
overarching concept that needed to be pursued --- The board person (not me
or the director) seemed taken abact and stated that that was a whole
'nother kettle of worms --- I am still confused.

I ' ll try to string something more coherent about this thread in a day or
two -- thanks for bring it up.
