Richard C. "Doc" Holloway asked:

"we can be at multiple levels of needs throughout a brief experience of
time. Now, I'm sure that someone wrote about this phenomenon
already--(nothing is original under the sun?)--please be good enough to
share the source, if you know it."

I like "Multimind" by Ornstein.

IMO, we not only can be but are at multiple levels of needs. The question
is: do these needs fit together or are some of them conflicting? The
frameword of NLP - "neurolinguistic programming" provides some useful
methods to deal with such conflicts. The NLP-author I like best is Robert
Dilts.

For more information, I have to look at my library at home. Please ask, if
you want me to look for some original titles.

But the best way to learn about these needs is living a concious live and
increase conciousness by practicing some kind of meditation.

Best regards, Winfried
