Internet Problems July 17 LO14419

As you may have read, there was a major internet wide problem Thursday
July 17 that may have affected mail to or from .com and .net adresses. I
did not notice anything particular in the "undeliverable" notices I
received around that time, but it's hard to tell.

If you're missing messages, please use the Learning-org web pages to read
them; sorry but I would not be able to handle individual inquiries unless
you've tried and are really desperate.

The San Jose Mercury News had an excellent article on what happened and
some of the sobering implications
