Religious discussion here LO15055

Replying to LO15053 --

I just want to express my position about dialog here that has a religious
element:

- I like Donald's expression (quoted just below). Yes, dialog about
learning organizations should include soul, spirit, mind, and body, and
this may include religious elements at times.

- I do want to insure that dialog here remains connected to org learning
and does not branch off into a discussion that is purely religious. When I
feel that this is happening, I'll return msgs to their authors (I did so
in a few cases recently). My inclination is to err on the side of letting
things go on a bit rather than cutting off too early.

- "...flaming..." was mentioned. Well, if you want to see *real* flaming,
I could suggest a few other sites on the net! My policy is to decline any
msg which makes a high-level negative attribution about any person or
group. I also decline any msg which (in my judgment) does not reflect
respect for the other parties in the discussion. Please understand that my
application of these priniciples may be faulty and inconsistent at times.

Thanks to all for your contributions to the dialog here.
