On the issue of whether Christians are open to non-Christian beliefs:
My maxim is:
I accept all truth, wherever it is found.
And, I accept all people as valuable and worthy of my love, whatever their
race, creed, color, or economic status.
I am not a judge. I need others to be merciful with me. And I want to be
loved by others just the way I am, right now. Therefore I must extend the
same courtesy. My beliefs and values exist to guide my life, not so I
judge others by my standards.
I believe that is a Christian belief.
