Roxanne,

I have a sense that your CEO recognises some fundamental needs of his own.
A programme that might move him forward a long way is the INSEAD AVIRA 5
day programme. I quote from the programme objectives:

QUOTE

The objective is to increae your capacity to master- in a proactive and
responsible way - the complexity of your task in an uncertain global
environment through:

better use of your personal resources, via increased awareness of yourself
and of your environment dynamics
deeper insight into your vision of the world, of organisations, and of
society
a greater capacity to imagine other alternatives, other logics and
scenarios by challenging your vision and confornting you with peers form
different cultures and leading figures from outside the business community
improving your understanding of the complex interdependency between
responsibility and action at the top level
a more effective use of knowledge (your own and that of others) in your
decision making process and taking action

END QUOTE

The programme takes 20 particiapants and runs four times a year twice in
France and once each in Singapore and California.
