In a message dated 21/10/97 03:43:26, you write:

" Looking for something fitting to use as a closing for the last in a
series of workshops on Learning Organizations. " etc.

A few thoughts:

1. How about some creative visualisation work to define some scenarios of
what the future might look like if they are succesful in applying and
cascading the concepts. You could ask them to do it from multiple
perspectives e.g.

Themselves
Their families
Their work teams
Their management
Their scoeity
Competitors
customers
suppliers
etc.

You could ask them to do a newsreel with interviews with each group set in
2001 / 2010 / 2020 and see how the perspectives changed the further out
you went.

2. Have you done anything on immediate barriers and how to overcome them?

3. Have you looked at how they can support each other as a bigger virtual
organisation?

4. Have they identified challenges outside their workplace - e.g.
community projects to which they might apply their learning approach.
Often given the uphill struggle of delivering change in an org where the
rest haven't been through the same developoment experience as you, it can
be helpful to have the team define an external challenge on which they can
deliver - it helps maintain the motivation and gives them the courage and
experience of success with which to tackle their own orgs.

email or call me if you want me to claeify any of these suggestions.

Rohit Talwar
