A very useful and practical reference that deals with this issue is:
"The New Organizational Wealth: Managing and Measuring Knowledge-Based
Assets", by Karl Erik Sveiby, Berrett-Koehler Publishers, 1997
Celemi, a Swedish management education firm offers a business simulation
called Tango which deals with this issue in a very didactic way. You can
find more useful information at their web site (http://www.celemi.se).
You may also check out a nice web site about knowledge management put
together by Gene Bellinger where you can find lots of useful links in this
area (http://www.radix.net/~crbnblu/kmgmt.htm).
