Hi. we are graduate students in clinical-community psychology at the
University of South Carolina. Our program deeply appreciates community
field of interest which includes organizational learning. We are
currrently taking a course on organizational learning and approach the
field from an academic interest, particularly theories of development and
implementation.

One area of particular interest is single and double loop learning and the
development, maintenance and shifting of ethics, or values, in an
organization. For instance, perusing the introduction to this
organization, we were peaked when reading the ethics that drive your
standards of behavior, or comportment. So we wonder who developed these
principles. The rationale behind them is briefly explained as a desire for
a non-"flaming" environment because that is most productive. But
production schemes depend on desired output. Is this a safe-haven for
thought then? What is the risk of controversy for this organization?
What is your researched evidence that the environment you prescribe and
wish to preserve is optimal? These are some of our interests and
concerns, and we certainly look forward to together-learning!

ciao
