Ray, It may interest you that what you have described by the "readiness
point" of Dewey, directly concerns one of the seven essentialities which I
call "connect-beget". Arthur Koestler with his bijectivism =
"connect-beget" + emergence is another person who has though much on this
topic. The german educator Klafki with his concept of a "fruchtbare
Moment" (fruitful moment) also have much to say on the topic.

I like what you have written. But like Plato of old, I have to caution you
about one thing - they needed teachers who can give, not hired hunters of
those who wish to learn.
