There is a thoughful introductory article to knowledge working in the
November 97 issue of "Metropolis" the US architecture and design magazine.
It is the "work" issue- all about ergonomics, future workspaces and so on
too. A very interesting issue all told. The knowledge working article is
titled "codifying not-so-common-sense", page 84. It defines knowledge
workers as those who "create, transform and process information all day,
very day".
