I am intrigued by the opportunities in initiating the concept of the
learning organization in health care. My organization as I am sure all
health care is undergoing massive changes. The social and economic
upheaval is daunting. Fear makes most people cautious and I find more
protective of the status quo. In a health care community there are diverse
groupings: administrators, physicians, nurses, etc. The groups interact
frequently and bring their own perceptions etc. to the process. We would
like to have change and learning become tools rather than barriers to
succeed. We are looking to bring in a speaker that can help motivate and
help everyone to start on the same page as part of an program to give
people the tools to begin to master their own and organizational fate. If
we are going to change in order to survive/thrive, we want to make it an
opportunity.
I am interested in ideas, speakers, programs or experience with this
issue. Please email me at jsabatoj@ix.netcom.com
