To all
In connection with the threads as to whether organisations are alive, what
does alive mean etc, I would like to add a thought that arose in
conversation with my father.
If the organs of the human body only exist to support the functioning of
the brain, and the brain is also needed to to help the functioning of the
human organs, are our brains in this LO dialogue, and the
inter-relationship human beings increasingly have with "silicon based"
systems in a comparable relationship? i.e. is the human brain
increasingly to become in some way a organ to support the functioning of
silicon based networks?
ie is IT (information technology) becoming alive?:)
If this is accepted:
What could be the purpose of this "silicon brain"?
What are its organs (complex structures= organisations?)
How is it learning?
How do the different organs interact?
I contribute this as a random stimulant to thought and wonder where it may
lead.
Best wishes to all for Christmas and 1998.
