A thought occurs to me as I follow this thread. It occurs to me that the
organization is being considered as a 'thing'. As I refuse to consider
people as things, maybe there would be value in considering organizations
not as things, but as happenings. What happens if we call it organizing?
Then the question becomes, "Does organizing learn?", which is an odd sort
of question. It is like asking "does moving learn?", or "does dancing
learn?" The sentence becomes a sentence with two verbs and no nouns. It
loses a great deal of meaning.
Is the organization a "thing?"
Who was it that first said, "The map is not the territory?"
