Rick Karash, our moderator, senses the depth of this thread, and asks what
lies at the heart of this discussion; it is a worthy study in itself, with
all its why's and wherefores.
Rick, there is gold here, and it comes in many forms, not all apparent to
the uninitiated. This is a learning experience, in a learning thread, and
the gold is in the sense of transition from older, less resilient methods
and practices, to other, more human, IMO more informed, ways of dealing
with those around us in organizational settings.
I'm certain you will get what you asked for, and maybe far more. Thanks
for putting it on the table. This is, after all, an opportunity for all to
learn something, so let's all DO just that.
