Dear Organization Learning colleagues.
I believe there is an informal ranking, and that is the quality of
discussion that ensues from the post. I have been gratified on several
occasions to receive a "right on" [American colloquialism for 'well
said.']
On those occasions when my comments engendered a well thought out Ho Hum,
I rethought my thoughts.
And when I was greeted with a rather angry reply, on one occasion, I was
hurt, but resolved to learn a little more about the subject I spoke about.
So in summary, gentle feedback IS valuable; a numerical rating would lead
to squabbling.
Very respectfully.
