Kevin--a wonderful posting. I agreed with all you said. I would only
hope that you might see how substituting the weaker word "empowerment" or
"empower" with a variety of other words that might include "personal
strength, personal mastery, individual power, self-esteem" and so forth.
As you said, Frankl's book (and many other inspirational works by people)
speak about the phenomenon without referring to "empower." Personally,
I'd like to see it eradicated from practitioners' vocabularies
(surprise?).
