PRE-CONFERENCE SESSION: "Leadership for the
Learning Organization"

Shakespeare once said that "All the world's a stage, and all
men and women merely players." Do our organizations learn
from the daily "dramas" that unfold around us? Are we and
our coworkers adaptable to ever-changing times, new
"actors" in our organizations, and working from constantly
revised "scripts"? How can we make our organizations
"learning' organizations, where the learning that occurs at all
levels is used to capitalize on change in order to transform
the organization and its members?

The objectives of this workshop are to:
Explore the concept of "learning organizations"
Challenge participants to apply the ideas to their respective
organizations
Encourage dialogue and sharing strategies to develop
learning organizations that instill leadership in all
organizational members
