Replying to LO18639 --

this is a wonderful thought to share, Roxanne. I know that many people
want more out of communication than the tripe they settle for--but it is
uncomfortable to let those damned barriers down!

I've found learning circles (dialog groups) to be an excellent way to move
into deep conversations. open space meetings are often full of intimate
or deep conversation. I think that part of the reason is that people must
become authentic within these environments, or everyone spots them as
unauthentic and tend to challenge this. those who can't let down the
barriers generally don't participate in these events (which is a great
loss).

thanks for sharing--gives me something to ponder for awhile.

walk in peace,

Doc
