Richard,
You had a good list of concerns for why an individual might sustain
interest in org-learning, but to be truly sustainable, IMHO, it also needs
to address the concerns of the whole organization. It must satisfy
concerns at many levels, not just the individual level.
I know there have been many other posts on the business value of
org-learning and the difficulty people have in demonstrating it with
concrete numbers, but I wanted to flag it here, before we got too focused
in on the individual only for sustainability.
