My name is Elke Sanz. I have a Bachelor's degree in Business and an MBA.
Both of my studies I did in my home town, Caracas, Venezuela. My native
tongue is Spanish. I have only a year of experience. This experience has
been in the consulting bussiness, in two different firms. I have been on
this list before. I probably even introduced myself then, but a never
really wrote anything. This time I hope to do so. My interest in this list
came about with my interest in change and people. I want to be a Change
Management consultant. I started to work as a compensation consultant, now
I'm working as a process consultant. None of these positions satisfy me,
still I'm trying to make the best of it incorporanting any issues on
change and people. I'm working in a consulting firm in the health care
division in a country were health care is either state owned and it
doesn't work or private and expensive. I never intended to work in health
care, yet the project caught my attetion for it's importance for the
country. The project's goal is to develop a regulation and institutional
design for a Health Care Superintendency which will inspect, survey, and
control all entities related to health care for social security. Today all
social secutiry aspects (health care, pension funds, recreation, etc.) are
managed by a single state owned institution. This institution is broke and
the funds it receives from the goverment are entirely used for payroll.
The Health Care Superintendency is created in a new legislation, part of
the reform in the social security reform. I hope I haven't made this
reading too long. I don't have any questions. I just wanted to introduce
myself to the list and let everybody know what I'm working on.
Thank you for your time,
Elke Sanz
