Replying to LO19771

I found that the writings of Arie de Geus in his book "The Living Company"
added depth to my interpretation of the balanced scorecard in
organizational learning. If you have not read it it describes the results
of a study into 27 companies that have been around for more that 100
years. Simply the four key factors found in all these companies are :-

They are all financially conservative.
They have a strong "family feel" amongst employees.
They "echo the environment"
They are proactive in "tolerating turbulence"
