GROUP DIRECTOR ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Phoenix AZ, or LA, CA based

THE COMPANY

Our client is a high-tech division of one of America's "Most-Admired
Corporations", according to Fortune Magazine. As a "World-Class
Manufacturer" they employ over 70,000 have over 15B in sales and are well
respected by Wall St. for exceptional Management talent and progressive
business practices. Over the last five years they have enjoyed 178%
increases in sales and dividends, and a 285% increase in both net income
and EPS. This Global 4.5 billion-dollar strategic product/services
business unit is seeking a "high-potential, transformational agent" for
this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION

This individual will provide extensive and highly diverse global
organization development support to strategic business units. Using
broad-based business experience and utilization of organization
development tools, you will spearhead strategic change methodologies to
drive systematic improvement and results. You will use process
consultation and facilitation skills and develop employee engagement and
involvement strategies. While coaching key business leadership teams you
will diagnoses organizational development issues and lead management
improvement interventions. You will have significant involvement in High
Performance Work System efforts (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, TQM).
Additional responsibilities include leading the development and execution
of an organizational learning process and curriculum, leading the external
staffing strategy, managing the internal talent review processes and
driving the Employee Satisfaction Survey Process.

CANDIDATE CHARACTERISTICS NEEDED

Thorough knowledge of organizational development concepts
Demonstrated expertise in organizational learning including needs
assessment and knowledge transfer
Experience in leadership development including succession planning,
executive coaching and design of workshops/interventions
Outstanding oral and written communication skills including presentation
planning and delivery skills
Demonstrated success with large scale change management
Demonstrated influencing, process consultation and facilitation skills
Results driven with ability to be effective in a fast paced environment

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION DESIRED
Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree in Organizational
Development, Organizational
Behavior or related field preferred. HR Generalist experiences a plus.
Minimum of 7 years
related experience.
