John Gunkler also commented on the issue of the reflexive property of
systems including thinking individuals:

>System dynamics models attempt to provide guidance to decision makers
>and, thus, become part of the system being modeled. Sophisticated
>practitioners are aware of the interaction between model (Gray's
"theory")
>and system and use this to help change the system in desirable ways.

But what if the desirable way that I try to accomplish is undesirable by
my competitor, for example on the financial market. Let's just assume that
I and my competitor are not naive (I think "sophisticated" is too much of
a praise). The development of the system will become unstable and
unpredictable.
