Dear LO'ers,

I was inspired by the message of Koebelin, De Lange, and Belbin
categories, and I have tried to show below how their categories can be
compressed in the DISC/DESA system originated by the industrial
psychologist, William Marston. Marston was a contemporary of Myers and
Briggs. I have put the general system of Marston into my Negotiator Pro
software (see last column, NPro).

I am curious if folks think that compressing the 8 categories into 4 loses
something in the translation?

I think we all agree that teams are a multi-individual group which shows
group consistancy over a longer period in a dynamic environment. This
broad view of humans and their different proclivities is also shown the
Howard Gardner's vision of multiple intelligences (MI). The net effect of
having a well-rounded team is that they are more efficient if they can
value their internal diversity.
