Thank you for your careful explanation of your position against being
labeled a ###-ist. I think I understand, and have a lot of empathy for,
why you insist on this. I don't like to be put in a box, either, for the
very reason you cite: it would tend to limit my creativity.

And I'm sure you understood that I was just teasing you by calling you a
"closet pragmatist." It's probably fair to say that anyone who tries to
put ideas into practical use follows at least some (8 of the 11?) of the
principles of pragmatism. ;-)
