Scenario: An organization has gone through a process of learning about
itself (how it operates - culture, characteristics, history), its
performance and its desired level of excellence. The organization analyzes
observations and develops a training strategy and supporting materials to
get were it want to be - in each of its business segments and overall.

Issue: Sustainment - Once the organization begins to has developed
material for the organization to improve performance, what is a reasonable
life cycle expectation for the material?

Background: At one time an organization could expect materials to be valid
for 3 -5 years. I have heard it is more like 6 months now.

Question: Anyone have any research or experiential sources I can
follow-up on to conclude an answer to the issue above?
