And sometimes not asking questions is a cultural issue. Having taught
English as a second language for about 20 years, I know from experience
that people from some cultures, many Asian cultures, for example, are very
reluctant to ask questions, which might suggest they are challenging the
teacher's authority and credibility. I also see examples in the work
place, especially in hiring and interview situations. Just another
